CLO Jiang Tao (Andrew) elected as legal representative to attend the 11th Shanghai Lawyers Congress2020-09-28
The first conference of the 11th Shanghai Lawyers Congress opened on March 31, 2019 at the International Conference Center. The chief legal officer of Shanghai Shenyu Law Firm, Jiang Tao was elected as the legal representative to attend the conference. Participants of the conference included members of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPC, Executive Deputy Mayor, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Government Party Group, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee Political and Legal Committee Chen Yin, Secretary of the Party Group and President of the Shanghai Higher People’s Court Liu Xiaoyun, Secretary of the Party Group and Chief Prosecutor of the Shanghai People’s Procuratorate Zhang Bencai, Shanghai National Security Dong Weimin, Secretary and Director of the Bureau, Lu Weidong, Secretary and Director of the Shanghai Judicial Bureau Jiang Min, Member of the Party Committee of the National Lawyers Industry and Vice President of the All China Lawyers Association, and Liu Weiping, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Shanghai Judicial Bureau and Secretary of the Shanghai Lawyers Industry.
The congress voted and passed the Work Report of the Tenth Council of the Municipal Lawyers Association, the Work Report of the Tenth Supervisory Board of the Municipal Lawyers Association, the Report on the Implementation of the Municipal Lawyers Association's Contribution Budget 2018, and the Municipal Lawyers Association Contribution Budget Report 2019. Members of the Congress elected a new leadership organization. Lu Weidong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Municipal Justice Bureau, delivered a concluding speech at the conference.
